About the Author

Greetings to you, and thanks for taking the time to read my diaries. You are currently inside whatever is left of my brain… 🙂 Enjoy!

1277459_10153218630730571_335830428_oMy name is Nicki and I live in Minnesota with my little family of four + dog. I work as a part-time Art Director in St. Paul and graduated from the University of MN – Duluth in 2004 with a degree in Graphic Design. I have two amazingly wonderful parents and a decent-sized case of middle-child syndrome. My husband, Nate, is my lobster. He helps me keep my head on straight when all I want to do if flail around like a chicken with my head cut off (because we all know THAT’S how problems get solved). We’ve been together almost 13 years and I have a much greater hope for his genes dominating in our children than my own (please get his patience…please get his patience….).

We have been married for just over five years and, after two years of marriage, we had a baby boy. Coen Jeffrey was born on June 25, 2009 with thick black hair and a killer personality. On January 12, 2012, we gave Coen a little sister. Mabel Claire is happy and talkative, and never fails to wake us up with smiles (albeit at every hour of the night).

As a stressed but joyful mother, I am more than happy to share the innerworkings of our relationship with all of you.

As I always say, if you keep reading, I’ll keep writing.

Nicki you have got to publish this….I have been absent in reading over the last week and am just catching up. I don’t have the hormones you speak of but yet have been laughing and tearing up while reading the blogs I had missed. Loving it. Best of luck, you are doing awesome!
